Before starting a watch manufacturing, we have done a long path through woodcarving and wooden accessories manufacturing. But one day we decided that we can create a product, that no one had ever created before. It's not about the wooden watch, it's about how we did make this watch.
We understood that we have a passion to wood. And we could spent hours by watching a single tree standing. How the wind touches the leaves, how it grows.
This is how the idea was born. We simply decided to combine things we like in one product. It occurred that this product is a wooden watch that must be made only by our hands.
While watching the nature you realize how close are you to something big. But this is some kind of feeling you cannot even describe. We all are a small part of the nature. But sometimes we forget about it. Nature is not something that begins outside your office or your apartment. It is something you live in.
We are very tired of high tech wearable things. Being a part of a nature, human is not something that should be measured. Forests don't need to be count. Ground don't need to be weighed. Wind just blow and that's it.
Of course in modern life we need to know all that things. We just want you to remember, that there's always something, you cannot measure. For example our soul. Or how big is your heart? How kind are you? Who can measure mother's level of happiness when a child is born? Or when you are laughing?
This watch is a part of nature. It shows you the time. But we want to stop the time for you every time you take a look at the watch. Take a look at a wonderful world.
Our master is the only master in the world, who managed to create a wooden tourbillon. He got his talent from his father. And his father was taught by the grandfather. The family woodcarving tradition counts more than 100 years. Unfortunately, he has nobody to give his talent to from his family. We don't want such a talent to be lost and faded away in times becoming just a history.
We think, that from now, our mission is to open a workshop for young woodcarvers, where we could teach a talented youth with a unique technique of woodcarving and wooden watch manufacturing.
We would be glad to see our "yunglings" being both able to code and to create some real things by their hands.
